What should I expect to see?

Storefront opera companies are part of the same scene, but operate completely independently from each other. Some may focus on smaller-scale performances of the classics of grand opera, some may highlight the work of living composers, or composers from marginalized communities. One thing they have in common, though, is the talent pool that is the Chicago classical singer community, along with our local directors, conductors, music directors, stage managers, and designers. They're all committed to telling spectacular stories in intimate settings that you won't find anywhere else.
